Hi guys, it’s Olivia from Grandart here. 

Today we are going to see how to easily open the paint pods.

We know that sometimes it's hard to open them and some of you may struggle, especially those with arthritis or other conditions.

We need to find a tool to help us.

Look around your house and see what you can find. Be creative.

We’ve found this piece of metal.

I would say the most convenient tool would be as thin as possible and about this wide, maybe a little bit wider

If you can’t find anything like this object, try to look for different tools at home.

It could be anything, a screw driver or a peg

Ok, let’s get down to it. 

We need to slide the tip in between the two tabs, underneath the lid and turn the upper tab upwards.

Let’s do it again. 

Make sure you hold the paint pod firmly.

You can put your thumb on top, and two other fingers behind.

Or the way you feel most comfortable, it’s up to you.

Let’s try another tool.

The screw driver. 

Same concept.

If the screw driver doesn’t have a wide tip, it will only make a small gap.

If you still can’t open it with your hands you can use a peg or any other tool.

The first time you try it, the tool will probably slip and it will take a few attempts for you to get a hang of it but don't let that discourage you.

As you repeat the process, once and again, you will master it and I'm positive it will become easier and easier.
